When Katrina fist started our program, she was failing most of her classes. She was referred to our Mt. Tahoma Site Coordinator, Ms. Tracy, for help with catching up. After talking with her, Ms. Tracy discovered that Katrina dreams of going to Cornish School of the Arts. We set a goal with Katrina to pass all of her classes each semester and we encouraged her to start further researching her dream school. With her dream in mind and incentives along the way, Katrina went from failing half of her classes last semester to passing all of them this semester.We know that with continued hard work, Katrina can reach her goals and achieve her dreams.
