Experience the Power of Presence

At Communities In Schools of Tacoma, we believe Being Present Matters. Our monthly Power of Presence (PoP) visits bring our mission to life by inviting board members, partners, and supporters to step inside our schools and see the work in action.

During these visits, you’ll have the chance to meet with Integrated Student Support Specialists, hear stories directly from students and staff, and witness how consistent relationships are breaking down barriers and building brighter futures. Each visit is a reminder that showing up — for students, for schools, for our community — is not only powerful, it’s transformative.

By participating, you are helping ensure that every student in Tacoma has the support they need to stay in school and achieve in life. Together, we show that presence isn’t just a value — it’s the foundation of student success.

Join us for a PoP

We host Power of Presence visits on the third Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. across different Communities In Schools partner sites. These visits provide an intimate opportunity to step inside our schools, connect with our team, and see firsthand how being present changes lives.

Because visits take place during the school day, space is intentionally limited to four participants per session to ensure a meaningful experience. We invite you to RESERVE YOUR SPOT TODAY and witness the Power of Presence in action.
