Nicole is the Director of Development and Communications at Communities in Schools of Tacoma (CIST). Prior to CIST, Nicole was the Director of Program Operations at Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue a leader in the Youth Development space. Previously, she was the Director of Youth Services at the Native American Youth & Family Center in Portland, Oregon. Nicole has spent her career ensuring that youth are successful by working to improve systems for youth to succeed.

She has contributed to the Boys & Girls of America publication the Blueprint-The Definitive Program Resource for Boys & Girls Clubs, was a National Trainer of Trainers, and awarded a National Merit Award for Excellence in Character & Leadership. She has a bachelor’s degree from Western Oregon University.  She has completed numerous Leadership training courses through Boys & Girls Clubs and other institutions. 

When she’s not at work, you can usually find her with her husband, teenage son, and their two dogs. Whether it’s cheering on her son, going for a run, or taking the dogs out for a walk. She also enjoys spending time in the kitchen—cooking dinner, trying new recipes, or baking something sweet to share. Travel is another favorite, whether it’s a quick weekend getaway or exploring new places further from home.
