It’s that time of year again! Every year in Tacoma there are students whose holiday season won’t be as bright as their peers. The CIS Winter Wish program aims to help spread holiday cheer to students who are experiencing homelessness, bringing warm coats, pajamas, blankets, gloves, and socks for students in need.
You can support this amazing program! There are three ways to donate:
- Shop from our Amazon Wish List here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3IB27Y4F29IIG/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex?. The items you purchase will be delivered straight to CIS and will be handed out to families.
- Request a shopping list from Abby at abuter@tacoma.k12.wa.us and do the shopping yourself. There will be a designated drop off time at the CIS office for contactless drop-off.
- Give a monetary donation here: https://communities-in-schools-of-tacoma.snwbll.com/winter-wish or donate gift cards to Walmart, Target, Costco, or Amazon. CIS staff will complete the shopping to make sure all students are covered.
