When engaging with our Site Coordinators, students often share about their lives and things they aspire to be and see. Our sweet Anastasiya from Arlington Elementary School shared recently about her heart towards Ukraine and how her family is praying for peace. She exclaimed, “The whole world seems to be praying for Ukraine. I’m excited to see everything get better!” Thank you, Anastasiya for your big heart and concern for the well being of other people around the world!

Our Site Coordinator Adan, at Mt. Tahoma High School, took students to the Tacoma Public Schools job fair at the People’s Center. It was an awesome atmosphere and our students were excited to be there. They came back with goodies and most of all job opportunities! Students were able to walk around to different employers and gather information about employment. Our 11th and 12th graders came back excited and open to explore more opportunities.

Meet Ariannah, a student at Stewart Middle School! Ariannah participates in LatinX Club, coordinated by our Site Coordinator, Jocelyn. She has great enthusiasm and always has a smile on her face. Ariannah describes her time in the club to be fun and creative, and she encourages others to join. This month she took on the challenge of creating a unique Stewart Panther PiƱata. When reflecting on what the club means to her she said, “LatinX club helped me have a more open mind about my culture and made me want to learn Spanish.” Thank you for being a role model in LatinX club and embracing your culture, Ariannah! We are proud of you!
