Tacoma Public Library E-Books & Pathways Program
Any Tacoma resident with a library card can access Tacoma Public Library resources, and all Tacoma Public School students are eligible for a library card through the Pathways program, a partnership between TPS and TPL. There are instructions on how to access this resource on the Pathways Partnership page of the TPL website.
Resources include:
- E-books and e-magazines
- BookFlix, video storybooks for children aged pre-K through 3rd grade
- TrueFlix, books with related videos, images and web links for grades 3-5
- Hoopla, movies, TV shows, e-books, music and audiobooks
- Lynda, online video courses on software and technology
- OverDrive e-books and audiobooks
- RBDigital e-magazines

Pierce County Library E-Books and Online Homework Help
Residents outside of Tacoma city limits can access e-books, audiobooks, and other resources with their Pierce County Library card. If you don’t already have a card, you can register online using their Online Library Card Registration form.

Khan Academy Online Courses
Khan Academy is a free online learning resources offering courses in a wide variety of subjects for all age levels. They have created a special page for remote learning resources for parents and teachers during the COVID-19 school closures, including recommended daily schedules for different age groups, instructions on how to set up an account and get started, and information on SAT preparation. Khan Academy is also offering live streams every weekday at 9am PST with information for parents, students, and teachers during the school closure period.
