A huge thank you to all of the sponsors and donors that helped us make the 2015 Winter Wish Program an event to remember. Over 200 students and their families attended the Winter Wish Celebration on December, 22 2015 to celebrate the holiday with cake and snacks, take pictures with Santa and his Elf, and receive their Winter Wishes. Winter coats, accessories, food baskets, gift cards, and toys were awarded to students at Mount Tahoma, Oakland, Sherman, Fern Hill, Arlington, Baker, Blix, Fawcett, and Bay Terrace Head Start.
Many of the families that we work with don’t have the luxury of buying Christmas presents for their children. The kindness and generosity from the donors and sponsors of the Winter Wish program brought tears of joy to these families and showed them that they can reach for a brighter future.
