Winter Wish is an event to support Tacoma homeless students this holiday season. We are looking for sponsors to provide warm coats, shoes, hats, clothes, and pajamas for families who are currently experiencing unstable housing situations.
There are three ways to get involved:
- Shop from the online wish list here. The items you purchase will be delivered to CIST and we’ll make sure they get to the students in need. As you shop, please ensure that items can be delivered by Monday, December 13.
- Request a shopping list and do the shopping yourself. Email Nova at nhernan@tacoma.k12.wa.us for a shopping list. Donations can be dropped off at the People’s Community Center (1602 MLK Jr. Way Tacoma, WA 98405). Please drop off no later than Monday, December 13.
- Give a monetary donation here or donate gift cards to Target, Walmart, Costco, or Amazon. CIST staff will complete the shopping to make sure all our students needs are covered.
