It’s that time of year again! The holidays are fast approaching, and for families in need it can be a difficult time of year. Every year, there are students in the Tacoma School District whose holiday season won’t be as bright as their fellow students. This year our Winter Wish Program is targeting students who are living in cars, parks, public spaces, abandoned buildings, motels, camp grounds, emergency or transitional shelters, or they do not have standard living accommodations. Our goal is to provide warm clothing (pajamas, coats, blankets, hats & gloves, etc.) for these students in need this holiday season.

Students selected for this program are matched with a sponsor who will donate gifts to the student. The program culminates in our annual Winter Wish Celebration, an event where the students and their families are invited to enjoy refreshments, take pictures with Santa, and receive their gifts.
