Wapato Hills Community Garden Work Party

Communities In Schools is partnering with the Healthy Homes, Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative, Tacoma Environmental Services, Harvest Pierce County, and Tinker Garden on a build party for the Wapato Hills Park community garden. This garden serves the community by providing a space where South Tacoma families can grow their own healthy, organic, and sustainable food. Our teams will be building new raised garden beds to expand the space. Lunch is provided and there will be activities available for children aged 18 months – 8 years old, so bring the whole family!
