READY! Set, Read–Tacoma! (Apply sunscreen.)

Have you heard about READY! Set, Read!–Tacoma yet?
In general, it’s a totally awesome program run by awesome people. During the summer, though, it may actually be EVEN MORE awesome (hard to believe, yes, but possible. Maybe because the staff has the summer sun to power them).
This summer, READY! Set, Read!–Tacoma has four weeks of story hours, let by early-childhood education specialists, featuring activities to extend learning–with a focus on science, math, literacy, and the arts!
The program is free (!) to all interested students and families! (Lunch is also provided.)
Where, you ask? When?
Do you remember those “Choose Your Own Adventure” books from growing up? It’s a little like that, because you can choose your own location! The program runs the weeks of July 8, 15, 22, and 29.
