Project R.I.S.E. at Baker Middle School

“REBUILDING our community, INSPIRING others, SERVING humanity, EXPRESSING ourselves”

Students are given the opportunity to work with peers, staff, and their community. It is an experience that will include more application verses allocation. Students will participate in 6 community service projects, 3 taking place at Baker, and 3 out in the city of Tacoma. In addition to community service students will also learn about networking, positive use of social media, PR, importance community involvement, teamwork, and the discipline of the arts. All of this will conclude with the talent show and R.I.S.E. festival on June 11th 2014.

Cleaning Baker Campus and decorating the school
Life Center & CIS: dental van, haircuts, shoes & clothing, hygiene kits etc.
