Communities In Schools of Tacoma provides safe and structured after school activities for low income students. Students benefit from these extended learning activities, which range from learning Spanish, Minecraft, hip hop dance, drums alive, mixed sports, art, and cooking classes. Programs begin in October and end in June, giving students an opportunity to be engaged in multiple types of learning experiences while feeling better connected to their school and community.
