Smiling Mind is a free mindfulness app with tools and exercises for children and adults to learn mindfulness skills, including identifying emotions and emotional state, simple meditation and breathing techniques, and practicing gratitude. These skills can help relieve stress and improve well-being.
Tacoma Public School District provides Whole Child Lessons to help families with social emotional supports. There are currently three lessons that have been created focusing on Stress Management, Identifying Emotions, and Empathy. The lessons are available tailored for elementary aged students, middle/high school aged students, and families.
