Wapato Hills Community Garden Work Party
Communities In Schools is partnering with the Healthy Homes, Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative, Tacoma Environmental Services, Harvest Pierce County, and Tinker Garden on a build party for the Wapato Hills Park community garden. This garden serves the community by providing a space where South Tacoma families can grow their own healthy, organic, and sustainable food. School Supplies at Summer Bash
Communities In Schools of Tacoma is hosting a table at Metro Parks Summer Bash at the STAR Center! This family-friendly event features music, games, food, and a movie on the lawn, and live music--finalists from the Rising STAR singing competition will be on hand to perform.
